Who Can Attend?
Anyone who wishes to network and make new connections can attend. Past Multi-Group Mixers have attracted teachers, doctors, lawyers, electricians, wood workers, retail employees, students, and of course the unemployed.
Will there be Drinks and Food?
Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
What is the Dress Code?
Business to Business Casual attire only. Jeans are ok when paired with a collared shirt or trendy blouse. No sneakers, t-shirts, baseball caps, gym clothing, etc.
I am looking for a job. Can I come?
YES! There will be many recruiters and hiring managers present.
What Should I Bring?
Bring at least 30 business cards. You may also want to bring flyers, literature, and your resume. There will be a business card table where guests will be permitted to leave and pick up cards.
What is the History?
On October 10, 2006, seven Professional organizations came together for the first Multi-Group Mixer (formerly the Young Professionals Multi-Group Mixer). The event was a huge success and 200+ participants enjoyed a night of social networking. We did it again in March, 2007 and twelve organizations participated, bringing out close to 400 guests! For the Oct 2007 mixer in Montclair there were close to 500 participants among the thirteen organizations! Since then, organizations have gathered twice a year, consistently bringing out a crowd of 300 to 500 Professionals!
Who Gets Invited?
Over 100 New Jersey based Membership Organizations are invited to every Multi-Group Mixer! Does your organization want an invite? Send an email to [email protected].
